Benicians are inventive, entrepreneurial and well educated. We must create opportunities for jobs for Benicians by being competitive with our great schools, culture, history and location on the Strait and by maintaining our quality of life that will attract new business. I envision Benicia as the Green Gateway of Solano County.

Moving Forward

We must embrace innovation and invest in infrastructure. I am gratified that t he new Community Center is thriving. I envision the possibility of a new performing arts center which will encourage the gathering of the community. I plan to re-focus our energies towards the economic health of our historic downtown and other commercial centers, working with the City Manager on recruitment and retention of businesses and promoting shopping locally. I am dedicated to Benicia and consider myself exceedingly fortunate to be able to take part in its future full of promise.
